Course Outline: Join Trevor as he will showcase this new high-strength, aesthetic, all ceramic pressing material. All techniques, including digital and analogue workflows will be illustrated and show cased. Discussion will focus on an a la-carte approach to selecting various materials and their fabrication techniques, as to maximize the functional and aesthetic outcome for the patient.

Trevor Laingchild, RDT, A AACD, sense of adventure has taken him on an international road in his profession. After formal Dental Education in London, England, he managed a Dental Laboratory in Germany and served as Chief Dental Technician for an American Hospital in Saudi Arabia. Further experiences included, expanding his technical horizons whilst working in Norway, Scandinavia. As a Registered Dental Technologist, he currently owns and operates dental studios with locations in Yorkville and Burlington, both in Ontario, Canada. Trevor is an Accredited Member and an Examiner within the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a Certified LVI Master Aesthetic Technician.

For many the concept of maintaining and providing solutions for the longevity of existing hybrid implant prosthetics does not come to mind. Millions of screw-retained implant cases have been placed into function but what about needed repair and maintenance? Simplified processes, tools, and step-by-step workflows will be reviewed. This Workshop will go thru the full workflows for the “Conus” Atlantis protocol for the denturist, as well as tips and tricks from case planning all the way to case finish.

Olivier Tric, MDT, CDT, began his studies in France at the College of Leonardo De Vinci and the University of Pharo while concurrently pursuing an apprenticeship in Dental Technology. After a 5 year apprenticeship, he launched a 15+ year career devoted to a thorough understanding of the principles of Dental Aesthetics and the mastery of specialized techniques in Dental Laboratory Technology. His specialties include all facets of porcelain restorations on both natural teeth and osseointegrated implants. He is recognized by his peers as a pioneer in the industry by developing new and unique methodologies that are taught worldwide. He is widely published on the topic of ceramic layering techniques and aesthetic dentistry in industry journals such as Dental Dialogue, Practical Procedures & Aesthetic Dentistry and Quintessence Dental Technology. He also serves on the Editorial Board for Spectrum Dialogue, and Teamwork Magazine. His professional affiliations include Design Technique International (DTI), Oral Design International Foundation,

and others.

 

Mr. Tric is a highly respected lecturer and educator, teaching hands-on courses to dentists and technicians throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.
